SW Craft Club: Your Crafty Invite

Hello!

I’m Zoe, the proud founder of SW Craft Club and I’d like to invite you to the new pop-up events we are putting on this summer.

If you’re reading this letter it means you’re pretty much like me and my friends and you love craft. Most people know why I started the blog and if you want the longer story you can find it on the About page, but in short it’s because I also love living in South London. I’ve wanted to do more crafty things near to home, so I started to research what’s actually going on in South London and there are loads of great craft workshops and courses available, they were just really hard to find online. Anyhow, it appears I’m not the only person who had this problem, so I started the blog.

The blog is an opportunity for us to shout about the great things that are happening south of the river and it’s time for you to get to know your local crafts heroes, the specialists who live near to you and can teach you something new. Launching this year in Tooting and Clapham, the SW Craft Club Pop-Up Events, have pulled together loads of local crafters under one roof to give you free tasters of different crafts. We’ve worked hard to create this unique type of event just for you and I’m actually quite excite about what we’ve achieved so far, there are some amazing companies taking part. Our event is free to enter, all you need to do is sign up to our facebook Events Page: https://www.facebook.com/SWCraftClub#!/SWCraftClub?sk=events , you’re more than welcome to come along to both dates, the more the merrier and don't forget to bring along your own projects, there will always be someone on hand to assist you if you are stuck or just get stuck in and soak up the atmosphere.

I also wanted to ask a favour, we’re on the look out for some crafty little helpers, a few people who are available to volunteer their time with the set up and take down of the event, don’t worry we won’t need you for the entire time, just a couple of hours giving you enough time to get your free tasters in, if you’re free, just drop me an email zoe@swcraftclub.co.uk
